You're probably used to showing up to an activity and receiving instructions on what to do, when to do it, and where to do it.  Not at BASEcamp!  You set much of your own schedule!  Collaborate with other youth in your group and do something meaningful, make a difference in someone else's world, and be awesome!

Young adult "Guides" are ready to help you navigate this experience.  From brainstorming ideas, to implementing your plan, and even learning from what doesn't go well, you'll gain greater confidence in your abilities to make a difference.  Come feel the joy in "doing" the Gospel of Jesus Christ!!


Believe! Act! Serve! Endure!

This isn't a "sitting around discussing how we should live" week.  This is a "going out and DOING something about it" experience!  You'll discover how contagious living a life of meaning and direction can be.  Come realize the significant difference you can make when you engage your belief in Jesus Christ with your time and talents in doing Good!!  


BASEcamp Dress and Behavior Expectations:

All participants will be held to the high expectations of dress, appearance, and behavior as found in the teachings of Jesus Christ and outlined below.  Additionally, BASEcamp staff and administration reserve the right to consider and address individual circumstances as needed.

  • Dress

Immodest clothing for young women AND young men is any clothing that is tight, sheer, or revealing in any manner.  Young women should avoid short skirts and dresses, shirts that do not cover the stomach, and clothing that does not cover the shoulders or is low-cut in the front or the back.  Young men should wear their pants so as to not reveal their underwear. Shorts above the knees and tank tops are not appropriate for young men or young women.

Young men and young women should be neat and clean and avoid being extreme or inappropriately casual in clothing, hairstyles, and behavior.

  • Behavior

Participants may be dismissed from the program, and sent home at their own expense, if personally involved in, or assisting in any of the following behavior: violating the law of chastity—including viewing and/or sharing pornographic material, theft of any kind, usage of alcohol, tobacco, and drugs including unlawful use of prescription medications, or actions that are harmful to others, or yourself—physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
